@MotherDucker
Is it too Pollyanna of me to say that for things I don't like doing, I try to find the good in making my home/work a better place; try to find contentment in serving others?
It's how I feel.
@MotherDucker
I understand. I find myself stepping out of my comfort zone frequently for the good of others, and do it willingly. I think living outside of our selves is existence on a higher plane.
With greater unselfishness comes greater reward.
@MelissaHDavis not Pollyanna at all. Because that's how I reconcile my own answer to the question.
I am really good at empathy... I work in inpatient oncology and often times I'm the only person in sight when a family member needs to step out of their lives ones room and fall to pieces. I'm REALLY GOOD at being a shoulder to cry on and offering emotional support... But I hate to be touched.
With great hugs comes great...anxiety
