Differences in familiarity with certain English words by sex: observablehq.com/@yurivish/wor I can confirm that I knew a lot of the boy words and not a lot of the girl words. I feel ashamed.

Note that many of the female words are fabric related. Wouldn't know them except my mother was a seamstress.
The male words are more varied.
Why aren't the female words as varied?
