@MeidasTouch my concern is that folks like Walsh will join the Dem party and the Dems will actively jettison actual liberals
We will end up with one party the Dems that is basically republicans economically and kinda Dem social i.e. we will still be screwed

I followed him over on the cesspool and he’s only against Trump. Everything else he believes in aligns with the Republican party. Now if his thinking and policy stance evolves, that would be a different story.

@MeidasTouch Sorry. I can't trust Joe Walsh. He is at times an opportunist, and certainly a father of our current political environment. He is not MAGA, but he is still very conservative
@MeidasTouch This description makes it sound like Walsh's change of heart was a recent thing like so many other opportunists. It was not. He's been a NeverTrumper for years.

@MeidasTouch There were many horrible things he said and did, but I also believe he realized his mistake and has been working ever since to atone. Time will tell if he remains true to his realization.
