@MeidasTouch It's rampant here in TN. Drive rural and you still see the confederate flag. It's very uncomfortable.
Only some of us born here evolved I'm afraid. It's all literally handed down generation to generation as a way of life. They hear it from birth. Yet it never benefits them. How to change that mindset is a mystery to me.
The pics of rednecks with flags n guns, jacked up trucks with JohnDeere hats n gun racks, the inbred jokes about it... honey its all real. They exist.
