One thing is for sure. I’m spending less time on the bird app than before. Every time I take a look in there, the anxiety and the rage flare up against the risen numbers of bigots and bots that flocked platform. Even with curated followings, blocked and muted words and accounts.
Though I am going to miss the good content and have to find the accounts of people I care about elsewhere, if Twitter dies tomorrow or become 4chan 2.0, idgaf anymore. Billionaires should not exist.

All these wordle and its clones' posts are kinda getting out of hand. Keep adding new variants to the mute words filter. 😞

@robcinos I still have people and lists over there I like to follow and hope they migrate too. So I do go there briefly to get updates. The question is until when. Once everything breaks down, the end could be abrupt and chaotic.

The main reason that drove me off #twitter a bit for the last few days, is not that #musk is actively destroying the platform and the livelihood of its employees. That was a given.

It was the number of stans believing he would bring free speech back. To balance it out. This opinion weren't from random people. But people I followed and respected. The sheer unbelievable stupidity.

In the end I don't even have to deactivate my accounts. That platform will sink itself along with its musk fanboys.

A bit overwhelming at first and still trying to find my footing around here.
The people are similar minded, helpful and friendly. 🖖
So far, no far right trolls to be seen, which is so much better for maintaining my calm.
Now let's see if I can find more twitter refugees I know over here.
