Most people seem not to know that you can turn down the horn that sounds when you lock/unlock your car.
Please be kind to your neighbors who like to open their windows.
@Mathias Oh, please share how to do this. My new-to-me car is so much louder when I lock it than my previous car.
@mightymite For mine, it is in the dashboard radio under settings. Perhaps look in your manual under sound, or your dealer could tell you.

I've never seen that as an option in any car. What makes and models are you aware of that you can do this?
Most cars today have a beep of some sort.
