The fires that broke out in the NW corner of LA county this morning are being spread horribly by the severe Santa Ana winds. They started as brush fires but now there are several homes caught up in a number of locations.
Pray for the Fire Crews & the people losing their homes.
It's horrible.

This election was never about the economy—it was about endorsing racism, misogyny, and intolerance by upholding a narrow, white supremacist view of leadership. MAGA has always meant imposing the same cruelties once inflicted on Indigenous people, enslaved Africans, and desperate asylum seekers. But, hell no! We will not go back. #Resist
I feel suicidal, but I'm too damn stubborn to quit. I want to live to see these awful people meet their karma. I have my own purpose to fulfill as well. I'm going to be like Ulysses strapped to the mast screaming at the sirens' calls while my 'crew' (sense of purpose) keeps rowing straight ahead.
It's going to be hard to thrash a way out of this depression to get anything done creatively.
Everything feels pointless.
I feel like I'm suffering an internal earthquake.
Just horrible.
