I think Hurricane Beryl is sucking all the humidity down to the Islands right now, unfortunately, but the side effect is that we are having dry and breezy weather here, which is pleasant for the summer.
That must be a monster storm; 😟 I'm 300 miles inland but feeling the effects. This phenemenon does happen during hurricanes, but is very noticeable now. Hoping everyone in Beryl's path stays safe.
@Mandypar Thanks! 🙂 I'm far enough inland that hurricanes are very significantly weakened when/if they ever come near me, so I'm under no threat, even though I can feel the effects in our weather here. It must be a huge system! Every now and then, we'll get a tropical storm, but hurricane strength winds here are almost unheard-of, fortunately!
