@Mandypar Hmph. Seems like doing any kind of business in Russia would be a terribly bad no good idea, in that case. You'd be designated a foreign agent and have all your stuff stolen and be thrown in jail. I hope anyone still doing any kind of business in or with Russia sees this.
@janallmac Doing business in Russia has never been a good idea. Bribery makes the world go around there. It is also relatively easy to steal a company with forged documents and bribes. When I worked with Russians they worked for a company based in Switzerland and so transactions tended to not go via Russia for a multitude of reasons. (also it was a major point of company policy to not pay bribes for anything).
@Mandypar That sounds like an absolute nightmare.
Ethics matter, ya know?
I feel bad for the everyday Russians having to deal with this, I'm sure they're not all complicit. I can't wait for Putin to die and be defeated.
