Thoughts on owning an electric car after 9 months. Mostly positive (no electrical pun intended). Good things: Driving is way more simple but also still fun, acceleration is great even in eco mode. The range (in mine) is more than good enough. Not so good things. Software needs polish as does the android auto interface. I can also see that people who do a lot of miles would struggle with charging given current (no pun) infrastructure

@rych The range is why we can't consider one for now - monthly we ought to be driving to Essex and back which is a good few hours of travel on the motorway/major A road.

I have an hour long commute so the range is a big concern for me, after the high cost of the car itself. I would definitely need to install a 240V charger at home.
