Reading the news is depressing at times. America is no longer a unified country. Even here in WA state, the western side of the Cascades is firmly Democrat. The Eastern side is Red trump supporters. Seattle keeps WA Blue Democratic and eastern WA state hates that. WA is no different in that even at State level, people are not unified.
America as a unified United States will probably not last to see its 300th birthday🤷♀️

They should have never added "under god" to the pledge, that was the golden piton. But those who rule over us know very well that divided we fall is a splendid control mechanism.

In times of "peace" we go to war intramurally. Our battles internecine.

I have a wealthy friend older than me, he's so rich he could only bankrupt himself on purpose. Yet he lives in a one-bedroom walkup in one of his properties instead of his 4000 sq ft home he's been renovating for 30 years. That 3 car attached is the wood storage facility. Too much money makes people cuckoo. I'd be happy with half of what he has. 😂

Very true. Money buys fancy toys and homes. It does not buy happiness. I wanted a 45 foot boat, the reality was where would moor it? Because of all the salt water, this area is a boaters paradise. Sure it would have been very cool to have a boat that big but I am quite happy with what I have and where it is moored🤗

There's nothing wrong with having some bounty in a finite life. It's when greed leads the world that things go sideways. PS Moving up in boating increases all costs. I always laughed at the people who's yachts were too expensive and scary to drive so they bomb around in Boston Whalers to their floating hotels.

For 25 years my boat was a 11 foot RIB. And that was fun. Now it is the dinghy. I have great moorage. It is covered and high speed WiFi is included in the moorage fee.
@MallyDaKatt @SECRET_ASIAN_MAN That sounds really nice, some near where I boated were covered, sometimes that br seemed to bring more birds. I enjoyed those years very much. Starting life as Navin R Johnson I couldn't possibly conceive of owning a boat regardless of size.

So far the RIB has only been pooped on once. The boat is in covered moorage so it is pretty safe from airbourne seagull poop😁
