The unintended result of deactivating my old account is that there's no way I can ever retrieve it.
When I was on Twitter, I was given a 30 day buffer. If I reactivated my account within 30 days, I could just resume as normal.
Based on what I've read, retrieving my old account is impossible because of security reasons. That's something I never considered would happen. I guess I was just too used to how things worked on Twitter.
I had nearly 30 followers & lots of content on my old account. Now I have to start from scratch with a different username.
It might prove difficult to regain the followers I lost plus all the people I had followed. That's because I really don't remember who all followed me and I don't remember all the people I followed.
As I mentioned before, I wasn't feeling well mentally when I deactivated my old account. I won't mention the details, but let's just say I wasn't in a good frame of mind.
@GrumpyWolf I'm not concerned about how many people follow me. It's just that I enjoyed the interactions I had with some of people from when I had from my old account. I just wish I could remember their names.
I'm pretty used to not having many people follow me by now. It's the interactions that I enjoy. If they end up following me, it's just a bonus.
