Yeah, I deflect to the larger picture quite often. Just puts our problems into context, and serves as a warning that if we don't start finding common ground with our fellow citizens, then our nation will be too busy fighting ourselves to be able to identify and defend ourselves from the demented thinking minds that want US all dead.

We can stop every attempt to divide us by finding our common ground and building together a better world. But if we allow ourselves to be divided into separate antagonistic camps, we become vulnerable to demented thinking, which, truth be told, don't like us cooperating together precisely because unity of unique strengths and ways of thinking gives us maximum life giving effect like motors composed of premium parts and powered by infinite levels of pure energy.
