This will not be the case in 2024.
Long gone are the days when we Michiganders begrudgingly turned on the Lions game only to have the game ruin my dad’s mood. The inevitable loss was part of our Thanksgiving.
Year after year after year.
Now we plan Thanksgiving dinner around the game. I can hear my dad whooping it up on the other side.
Lions & Bears will be epic. My sons are ready to battle.
