Good chilly morning! Hope you are staying warm. Finally cooling off here, with expected frost in the next few days.
The garden is all taken care of, old summer plants clipped and composted, new fall/winter plants getting their secondary leaves.
After the first frost I'll harvest some of the collards that struggled all summer but have taken off with lots of new growth recently. It can tolerate the heat but it's still a cole crop, loves the coolth, like me.
@CJLavoie We had a light frost here last night so the chickens were treated to the last of the scarlet kale. I still have 3 varieties of kale growing to meet their never-ending lust for greens.
