ON this date in 1943 - "Is You is or is You Ain’t My Baby?" by Louis Jordan and His Tympany Five was released.

Bun Man and Mr. Purple, Cub Reporters for Variety, interviewed Mr. Jordan about his release.

P asked the question, "Louie, I hope I can call you Louie, where did you find such an inventive use of grammar for the song's title?"

Without hesitation, Mr. Jordan (apparently he wasn't too keen on the Louie thing) replied "Facebook, man, facebook..."
