ON this date in 1915 - Carl G. Muench received a patent for Insulit, the first sound-absorbing material to be used in buildings.
Lab assistants Bun Man and Mr. Purple continued working on Insulit refinement as they and Muench were convinced they could do something to help husbands get further insulated from their wives' EAR-PIERCING SCREAMS OCCURRING WAY TOO FREQUENTLY.
