On each subsequent anniversary of the 9/11 attack, members of the US Army Crisis Action Team would ascend the Pentagon and raise US flags in honor of the Fallen.

This flag was flown over the Pentagon on 9/11/2002. And that is a part of the Pentagon in the glass case.
