ON this date in 1957 - Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" was first published.

The novel told tales of Jack's travels across the country w/ his buds, Bun Man and Mr. Purple, who were not listed by name to protect the innocent.

The Boyz allegedly did some pretty wild things, but no one could ever really 'prove' any of it.

The book was an instant classic and the Boyz' legend continued to grow for some strange reason.
