ON this date in 1907 - "American Messenger Company" was started by two teenagers, Jim Casey and Claude Ryan.
The company's name was later changed to "United Parcel Service."
Ably assisted by fellow entrepreneurs Bun Man and Mr. Purple, who were starting the American Rubber Company, later changed to RubbersRus.

The Boyz told Jim and Claude they should have their 'messengers' wear brown clothing to add some pizzazz to their company.
Jim and Claude agreed, and BROWN was born.
