ON this date in 1989 - Mobil announced that they were divesting from South Africa because congressional restrictions were too costly.
Curious, I asked the Boyz about this as they were both serving in Congress at that time.
Bun Man said, "While a lively debate, Congress did put some restrictions on corporations during this time; they seemed to work."
