ON this date in 1175 - Frederick I, Holy Roman Emperor, signed the Treaty of Montebello with the Lombard League.
League reps Bun Man and Mr. Purple successfully tricked ol' Frederick as the Boyz were actually peddling a European Football Fantasy League, not the alliance of Northern Italian cities.

It really didn't matter, the terms of the treaty were never implemented, while Bun and P would have to wait another 800 years before their fantasy league idea would take off.
