TORA TORA PROTESTING

ON this date in 2000 - 600 anti-IMF (International Monetary Fund) protesters were arrested in Washington, DC, for demonstrating without a permit.

As Protestors Bun Man and Mr. Purple were being loaded into the Paddy Wagon, Bun Man said "It's infinitely easier to lock us up than those IMFMFers as Big Money rules..."

Mr. Purple countered "Yes, this is like the American people blaming the poor for their own lack of resources rather than finding a solution where everyone gets an opportunity for the golden ring..."

Bun Man was taken aback by Mr. P's newfound consciousness, but he took solace and said "I believe all I have done is awaken a sleeping giant..."
