On this date in 1979 - Idi Amin was deposed as president of Uganda as rebels and exiles backed by Tanzanian forces seized control.

Bun Man and Mr. Purple, Amin's Chief of Staff and Minister of Defense, packed their bags and headed to their next gig.

Bun said to Purple "Idi did get a little over the top right about the time he started going 'commando' everyday."

Purple replied "Da DaDa Da, Da DaDa Da."
