Do patent leather shoes really reflect up?
Remembering Junie B. Jones and her shoes.... Pat and Leather
This was a Play in either the 70s...
Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? is a novel published in 1975 by author John R. Powers.
It was subsequently adapted into a Broadway musical and a screenplay.
I used to read Junie B. Jones books to Sydnee at night at bedtime, the Mikster would howl at the way I read the books.
@LnzyHou @Madken65 I wore pants in Catholic school like a freaking radical. 🫣Got a lot of bullying for it but at least I didn’t have to feel any which way about those damn skirts being long enough for the teachers/clergy or short enough to be cool. Even though they called me a boy and a “dyke” I wasn’t freezing my ass off at the bus stop and I call that a win.
Wish I had known you then.
@Madken65 just ordered 3 more Junie B. Books from Scholastic’s book club to benefit kiddo’s school. That kid is hilarious. 😂 We can’t get enough.
@Madken65
We were not permitted to wear patent leather shoes in Catholic school lest the priests be tempted to look up our skirts.
Can it be done?
