Have a special affinity for these students. My educational career was bookended with services for Autistic students.
I started as a School Psychologist in 1979 working as the first SP in Delaware working with Autistic students in a public-school setting. And then when I retired from the Army in 2011, I returned to a School Psych position in Cape Henlopen and worked for another year and a half with them.
@Madken65 That's awesome. I find it amazing that in 2024 people still think Autism is a one-size-fits-all diagnosis. The education system in all countries need more hearts like yours!
