ON this date in 1880 - John Stevens patented the grain crushing mill.
The mill increased flour production by 70 percent.
Apparently, John was in full discovery mode when his pals Bun Man and Mr. Purple came by the lab one day.
Bun Man had just witnessed a wife, a noted ball-crusher, get her husband to achieve significant results after she grabbed his jewels and squeezed realllll hard.

Just as Bun Man finished relating the story, Mr. Stevens happened upon the idea of the crushing mill and, don't ya know, production increased by 70 percent.
