Worked with Ben when he was in the 82d and he was a Colonel and I was working in G3 at the Pentagon.
He's an outstanding guy and leader.
My fave boss at the Pentagon was now retired LTG Huggins who was a One-Star when I worked for him before he became the 82d ABN Div Cdr and later Army G3.
He and Ben were very close.
