ON this date in 1624 - In the American colony of Virginia, the upper class was exempted from whipping by legislation.

Virginians Bun Man and Mr. Purple helped form this legislation which was aimed at lessening the days' burdens on the upper class.

In his fiery speech to the legislative body, Bun said "Isn't it enough that we get brow-beaten by our wives on a daily basis?

Shouldn't we get some relief?

So, I say instead of tax relief, the whipping relief will do just fine."
