REMEMBERING FDR
ON this date in 1933 - U.S. President FDR ordered a four-day bank holiday in order to stop large amounts of money from being drawn from banks.
Seeing this, Bun Man related "Yes, I remember this, as odd as it sounds, this was a time when American government actually worked to help Americans."
Mr. Purple countered "What?"

Bun Man expanded "Why yes, little buddy, once upon a time, there was a national government who actually understood the importance of regulations to hold free-market forces in check."
Mr. Purple retorted "Is this a fable?"
Bun Man closed saying "Apparently so, little buddy, apparently so..."
