That 1998-99 Huskies squad, led by Richard Hamilton, Khalid El-Amin, and Hall of Fame head coach Jim Calhoun, hit the college basketball triple crown — winning the Big East regular season title, the Big East Conference Tournament, and the NCAA Championship in the span of a month and a half.

It’s a feat that Dan Hurley’s bunch would love to replicate in just over a month’s time, and this time around, it would be even more satisfying because the Huskies would become the first team since the 2006-07 Florida Gators to win back-to-back National Titles.
