Studies also reveal conservatives tend to be more staunchly religious,
So, my question is 'How weak is your religion that you live your life in fear?'

Make a mistake? Hell.
Gay? Hell.
Trans? Hell.
Fail in a way you weren't even told existed? Hell.
They're not staunchly religious, they're conveniently religious. They're religious when it can line their pockets or give them power. The fear comes from knowing their truths and how it could destroy them, because, ultimately, they're beholden to someone who knows everything.
