ON this date in 1885 - The Washington Monument was officially dedicated in Washington, DC.

It opened to the public in 1889.

Bun Man and Mr. Purple attending the dedication, stood in awe of the monument.

Bun turned to Purple and said, "I don't know Purple, it just looks so damn phallic to me."

Purple replied, "Washington was the Head of our government."

Suddenly, Bun Man got it.
