ON this date in 1895 - The first college basketball game was played as Minnesota State School of Agriculture defeated the Porkers of Hamline College, 9-3.
Bun Man and Mr. Purple, both Coeds at MSSA were ecstatic, although after the game they reflected.
Bun said "Our team was good tonight on their fast breaks, they just couldn't finish well, although they did win.
