HIDING DEBT

ON this date in 1985 - U.S. President Ronald Reagan's defense budget called for a tripling of the expenditure on the "Star Wars" research program.

When Senators Bun Man and Mr. Purple heard this, Bun turned to Purple and said, "Do you think there's a connection between Ronnie being an actor and this Star Wars bullshit?"

Purple replied "Well, he's fooled a lot of people into believing he was a good President, just look at how he hid the debt he was building up."
