ON this date in 1985 - The proceedings of the House of Lords were televised for the first time.

TV producers Bun Man and Mr. Purple supervised the first day’s session.

As the Boyz were readying for the PM session, they were greeted unceremoniously by the House of Lords Sergeant at Arms.

The lad told Bun and P they could not enter for a time.

You see, the Lords members were engaged in their post-lunch ritual of the Farting Pole.

Apparently, the Lords relinquished their ‘gas’ prior to their full return to the chamber.

The Boyz were told the Farting Pole had salvaged much of British Law from an otherwise notorious case of ‘talking out their ass…’
