T: Yep, in Congress there are a lot of tergiversationalists.
KD: Really? Do tell?
T: Well, it has 2 meanings, but both apply. The act of abandoning something or someone,
of changing sides; desertion, the act of evading any clear course of action or
speech, of being deliberately ambiguous; equivocation.
KD: I see what you mean.
