@WeThePeople I differ with your 'who is to blame' proposition, I think this is uniquely Trump and his cronies of the last few years who have lessened our ability to respond and still are. I would agree that Congress has dropped certain parts of this effort but when you put an administration in power 3 years ago who advocates the destruction of existing systems on top of 8 solid years of pure Republican obstructionism, well that's the schema I use to evaluate where we are.
@Madken65 @WeThePeople Because he’s a malignant narcissist. Everything is about him. He can’t plan. It’s whatever is happening in the moment. He’s not coordinating with Putin. He’s just a useful idiot.
I dont let Trump off the hook at all
I simply point out that preporation is key on this kind of thing and there were a lot of balls dropped long before Trump walked in the WH
Trumps a POS and he's killed a lot of people and a lot more will die because of him.
Strongly agree with this.
@WeThePeople ...And when I was Chief of Current Ops at the Pentagon, our Continuity of Operations team was top flight, we did exercises throughout the year based on response scenarios. We have the capability still to beat this, he needs to turn on the valves to save us.
For the life of all of us, I truly do not understand why he is not other than paving the way for the demise of America as we thought we knew it.
