Just an observation about the MSM - the people in Springfield who are "suffering" because of "illegal Haitian" immigrants in their town are AWFULLY QUIET. Maybe they can't find any. Maybe that should be the story. Just sayin.

@MPCavalier There are 9 articles about Springfield in the NY Times from the 19th September to the 24th.
From the town bracing for a Trump visit and how they can't afford it
To how the Mayor makes less than 15 grand a year is a Republican and is trying to keep the town together
To howTrump took advantage of Haitian workers for decades and now he is demonizing them.
We are in info overload it's behind paywalls
info it needs to be regulated & free & inspected like food.

Springfield
Washington Post
WP has a lot of coverage
The White House sent the town 4 bomb sniffing drugs
But it's all paywalled

@MPCavalier Anyway people in that town are trying to be heard. They are sickened by the racist hate but not many can hear them.

Thank you. I may have mis-stated. I'd like to see CNN or MSNBC go out to Springfield and find people who align with Trump and Vance on the Haitian issue. I have a feeling they might not find anyone that actually lives there that can put up any actual evidence of how the town is the dystopian nightmare Trump is making it out to be. Has that happened yet?

@MPCavalier I've read a LOT. Like everything I could find about it. I read the apology of the woman who accused her neighbors of eating Sassy the cat then found Sassy in her basement. Read a story about how a mentally ill woman who was not Haitian did eat a cat and that may have started rumors. And the little boy killed in a car accident's father. Not one person from there has had anything negative to say other than people being targeted by racists more than ever.
