I started watching the new season of Doctor Who yesterday.
I’ve gotta say, Gatwa is a breath of fresh air. Whittaker was fun, but suffered from some storytelling issues that weren’t her fault (I lost interest a little after the Master popped up, and the wad of companions she had was a little too much).
It brings back the feeling of:
“The Doctor. Doctor. Fun.” that early Tennant had.
Very pleased, the episode that started in Wales was fantastic.

I had NEVER watched Dr Who until the new season. I watched the first ep where they introduced Ruby and I immediately stopped myself from going further (okay I watched the Abbey Road episode!) - and went back to the 2005 re-launch. I am absolutely hooked on that show now. I am just about to start season 4.
