How did YOU keep your vibes right this week/weekend? 👀
😬 Luckily you'll be gone by the time future-you shows up!
@MLClark Yup! And after all, what has that asshole ever done for me?!
@MLClark o didn’t.. except when I made cake with my daughter.
I LOVED seeing that cake. What a great lesson for her in the fact that something doesn't have to be perfect to reward. 🤗 May that spirit of generosity and self care continue through the week.
@MLClark I played within my limits; getting better from upper respiratory ick, but normally I would have been more “productive”. And now stretching fingers within limits to learn a song. And you?

What a great jam session!
Glad you're improving on the "breathing" front (kinda important, last I checked). Hopefully that whole health business keeps moving in the right direction, and quickly!
@MLClark getting better, yet lingering peanut butter and dryer lint in the lungs is “unpleasant”.
Thanks M.!
Yep, Stevie took that descending cliche and built something tasty with. Oye Cómo Va, bueno pa' gozar, Blanca.
Started the day with the 5 Tibetan Rites. Wrote my first ekphrastic poem. Sent out some positive vibes in a few directions. No regrets.
I need to back into similar morning practice! Well done on priming body, mind, and heart so well.
Your positive vibes in this direction were well-received. Thank you so much for them. :)
@MLClark Not sure that I did.🤷♂️
@MLClark Did a craft project yesterday, went to a plant foraging workshop today. How was your weekend?
That sounds wonderfully restorative. Well done!
I'm ending on a note of deepening in gratitude. That always helps me get my vibes right. Have a great week ahead!
@MLClark l got out for a walk! I remembered a snack, a drink, rain poncho, plastic bags for collecting trash/ invasive plants, sun glasses and reading glasses.
It didn’t rain, because - poncho! but no pictures because the phone was left on the kitchen table! The creek was pretty high and turbulent after all the rain last night, but in quieter eddies the water surface was aswirl with ripples of pearly light from the clouded sky. 1/2
@MLClark I saw a squirrel wonderland, a huge heap of black walnuts over 2’ high and covering at least 3’ in diameter ( hemmed in by a circle of trees)
There were some individual maples that were red or mostly red, but the woods are still more green than not.
l brought home some leaves to decorate the table for solstice
I hope you had some good experiences to soothe and condition your vibes for the week ahead!

@MLClark I played tabletop role-playing games with friends.
Spent as little time online as possible and when online & interacting with people kept only focused on having fun and uplifting things. 👍
As per Ryan Holiday's Daily Stoic writing:
(Turns out I've been a lifelong Stoic in outlook the more I learn.)
@MLClark I didn’t. Had an anger episode. You?
Same! I was bloody furious with the world, and it radiated from my pores.
But we're still here, which means we still have the ability to be gentle with ourselves for not living up to the best versions of ourselves, and to keep trying to do better for ourselves and those around us going forward.
I wish you great kindness with yourself, Bob, and a super easy week ahead, in which to recover from this weekend's low.
@MLClark same to you M.L. Thank you.
@MLClark I laid low and took my time on door project.
Well done! Do we get to see photos when it's finished?
@MLClark well, it's not quite finished, I'm adding baby shelves, in a step configuration, for herbs, Thai Basil, Oregano and three others... here ya go tho!!!!
Step by step! That looks like a good little weekend project for sure. Thanks for sharing. :)
That is a fine colour for the door, if nothing else!
It's quite a nice job as-is. Even if it doesn't become an herb depot, it already offers a "lil' somethin'" to the overall room. Well done!
@MLClark there's a cable monster behind that door, but don't tell anyone..🧐 😂 👀
@MLClark I underperformed on producing presentations and editing journal articles. Future me is gonna be SO ticked off.
