Heading out for a walk/run in the rain, but #Zine team:
I'm going to be doing initial layout for Issue #1 this weekend, so get your work in if you haven't already!
@corlin: Do I have to work with primary colours for the second colour, or can we use, say, purple or green for the black offset? (And what's everyone feeling, for the second colour for the print?)
Two colors:
Any two colors. We will be mixing ink to the "Pantone" scale. Also paper color will make a great difference. For cost considerations, only one paper stock. No cover stock. Most likely a 50lb book weight. In a slightly off white, not ivory, but not bright white. If you want please call out the "Pantone" number.
Splendid! Thank you kindly, Corlin. I'll set up some samples with different Pantone colours for the #Zine team to decide upon this weekend.
Do you think you might have anything for the issue's interior as well?
(If not, we're still so very grateful for your contribution to the printing and distribution process, so no pressure whatsoever!)
Oh, what a rich topic! And one dear to my heart, as it relates to the praxis of hyperregional globalism.
Thank you, Corlin. This is going to be a lovely range of analysis to sink my teeth into when the working week is through.
Thanks for calling my attention to it!
Slipped my notice when first posted, but it's absolutely wonderful. Will add it to the layout this weekend. 👌🏻
@corlin
Also! May I pick your brain about a recent read you most enjoyed? I'm trying to add something *non*-work-related to my reading schedule, and you have such an excellent eye for a range of fiction and non-fiction themes.
I have zero need for the rec to be catered to a sense of what you think I might like; I'd be very happy to know what read has moved most you recently, and go from there. Much obliged, if anything comes to mind!
