π No lie, no liquor --
I love you rotters something fierce.
I am *a lot*. Life is, too.
(I'm starting to think none of us gets out of this alive! π)
But when I pop on here, I see people who know how to live with a spirit of convivencia: neighbourly conduct.
We're messy. Quirky. Uneven. Carrying burdens all our own, through personalities and worldviews that don't always agree... but also *don't have to*.
We're here. We're trying.
And we're giving grace to others trying, too.
Thank *you*. ποΈ
Morning, bright star. π«π
Thanks for sharing the light of your view with us today. π I hope the journey runs smooth and clear for you this week - and that the company you keep enriches every stop along the way.
@MLClark Good morning Rad soul!
Thank you very much for sharing yours!
I love your insights, and how smooth your writing is. It's effortless to see what you're driving at, and enables me to spin off in my own directions.
I have the benefit of many good souls, like you, that grace my days with their unique light. Thank you for how brightly you shine.
One of the uneven, I agree ML
That is precisely why I love this place. It really feels like a community. I have friends here with a greater diversity of opinions, communication styles, lived experience than I have anywhere else online. We do have areas we can improve as a community, but that's always true of any people.

We are secrets to each other
Each one's life a novel
No-one else has read
Even joined in bonds of love
We're linked to one another
By such slender threads
We are planets to each other
Drifting in our orbits
To a brief eclipse
Each of us a world apart
Alone and yet together
Like two passing ships
We are islands to each other
Building hopeful bridges
On a troubled sea
Some are burned or swept away
Some we would not choose
But we're not always free
"Entre Nous"

@MLClark This mortal life business is messy, quick and confusing, but we have the benefit of each other, shining like lighthouses across the dark.
We aren't meant to last forever as we are. The great lesson of all life is that nothing is static, the journey never ends. We advance to the far horizon, to find another, and another still.
We have the privilege as finite beings of an infinity to discover, moment to moment, across a vast eternity.
