I'm glad Jonathan Frakes was at the helm, at least. And we have a breather episode before the musical silliness comes along.

@MLClark @WordsmithFL I’m going to watch it later today, but I’m always impressed with Frakes - he’s directed a lot of stuff that can surprise you. He directed a bunch of the more important Burn Notice episodes and they’re noticeably better than some of the other ones.
He did a good job with this one. I cannot stand half the source material, but he put together a compelling production all the same. Some delicate wrenching moments managed amid the nonsense through careful attention to pacing and staging.
