Last night I did my version of a hard mental reset, after a day of many fellows harassing me on the street & it just... getting to me. I felt super sad about not being able to get a hug from someone safe at day's end.
But! The reboot worked, and today I woke up feeling much calmer and better prepared to face the fray. I have some routines I'd like to rebuild for better wellness, but today's mainly a writing day. Hope your own brings you great joy and little to no harassment. ❤️

A favorite pasttime of mine is hanging out on Discord w/ my friend Blodeuyn to do our own version of Amazon 1-Star Review Theater: one star reviews of popular creative works (books, TV, etc).
We actually branch out into almost anything, but the best are always classic literature with wide acclaim.
We got the idea from one of my favorie (now defunct) radio shows from while I was in prison: Wits Radio.

I wish John Green still did his podcast reviewing everything in the Anthropocene. We need more absurdity in this grinding world. Glad you and your friend are keeping the spirit of it alive. :)
@MLClark Loved ur post & glad ur back to feeling better. Life can be heavy sometimes so we all can relate to ur reset. I like that word. I have my moments too cuz ppl can be unnecessarily annoying or difficult, but at 62yo i refuse to let anyone take my joy! So happy u have urs back♡

@MLClark Thx! I have a thick skin, but it took some time & getting older to really know who u are & be ur own champion. Others can be irritating, but that's life, right? So dont give them any power. U seem like a person with their head on straight & took the time to process an issue & get urself back on track. That's strength! I wish u nothing but happy days ahead♡
