PROTIP: The Iranian President in Iran is 100% replaceable, he's not in charge of shit. It's the Ayatollah who matter. They just put their guy up for 'President' and he just does what they say. Doesn't matter whether he lives or dies, what matters is his ego, and how much of it he sells to them.
I know, it's wild right? Could never happen here. Right??
@th3j35t3r Yeah, I figure The Ayatollah, then the head of the IRG, Hossein Salami sandwich or whoever, then the civil officials.
However, I disagree. It could happen here if we let the secular separation of church and state lapse and fundamentalists took over.
@Lulz4l1f3 @th3j35t3r I believe it was rhetorical...
I don't think saying the Ayatollah is the top shot-caller is rhetorical.
I am pretty sure he can over-rule any elected official. And that IRGC (revolutionary guard leader), can probably make anybody elected disappear.
@IrelandTorin @hallmarc @th3j35t3r
lol, I know. I am just havin fun.
Did you know the IRGC leader is Hossein Salami?
Kind of looks like Hose in Salami to me. There a dirty joke in there somewhere. I just haven't figured it out yet.
@Lulz4l1f3 @hallmarc @th3j35t3r I know how you can make a dirty joke out of that, but it's kinda horrible.
One word: sounding.
Don't look it up if you're eating and/or would rather not encounter some discomfort-inducing body horror.
