ISP has been sucking more than normal lately so I decided to look at whats out there. Odd finding is that mine no longer lists speed anywhere on their plans. Others are listing Mbps vs Gb plans for High speed and very limited choices. Not sure what changed cant see how Net Neutrality reenactment could have changed that. Also odd that the ongoing problems with my Net always vanish as soon as I get to their website or check their page of service outages. Fiber not an option here.

@Lucky188 I know it's pricey, and then there's the whole Elon connection (don't know how you feel about him/that) but I have Starlink, and it's been really great. We only have DSL speeds available here (10mbps down, 1mbps up) and Starlink has made such a huge difference for us. Makes watching streaming services possible. Downloading large games is a breeze now. I really hate that it's an Elon product, but I love the service and am VERY happy with it.

@Evereigh Current plan Is DSL 22GB down and 1.5 up - I get more that 10 down if I switch to phone dongle which which is half what current internet costs me. Id also have a tough time doing any business with Elon. The weirdness is that seems all the speed information has been removed from plans listed online with the companies available in this area. Most of city is fiber - Im on the edge of town and its not an option here.

@Lucky188 Nothing changed in their cost structure or wiring, chances are is more related to ISPs being busted for false advertising

@sfleetucker It does look like they quickly stripped lots from their websites to hide something.
