That's actually built with (I think) FrontPage with a bunch of fiddling. It was so awesome not to have to manually build everything in a text editor and try to get the graphics and frames right, LOL!
In 1999, there were about 3 million websites. Total.
Which seems like a lot, but I remember drinking in celebration with said ex-husband when the total number of sites reached 2K. Total.
All that growth? Took about 5 years, give or take.
