Started seeing concern on the medias about @lakotaman1 and thought there was a fake account piggy backing on the reputation of the known online person. Now it seems there's a huge backlash against the original. I wasn't ever much of a follower of the first account but this uproar is news to me.

I stopped following and I don't remember exactly why. A few yes ago. But on twitter tons of "native" bots, so I just blocked them all.
