Report from the other side (heard in the background on the faux noise nutwork): DeathSantis wants to end immigration, like totally lock down the boarders and turn everyone away, no chance to get asylum ever. That’s the only truth I heard, all the rest was lies, so many lies.

Post hip replacement surgeries: thanks to yoga and swimming (it’s not without its pains at this point 😩), I’m not as tight as I was. I’m still weak, though. I’m teaching myself to walk normally again, and the muscles and nerves involved in walking, because I haven’t walked normally in a few years. It’s weird.

I ran into several of my undergrad and grad professors, and they collectively told me that I have to keep writing even though I have become an entrepreneur. That was a boost I didn’t know I needed. ❤️ (I will write again soon, promise.)

Great news!! The company who bought our first sheet cakes were thrilled!! This will be a monthly order (varying types of cakes) - woohoo!! Also, whew!!

Let’s hope he has to pay for his crimes. Though, it’s important to know who owns him (see caption under his picture).

This is one of the 4 cakes I made for a new customer today, and I’m always so worried when I drop cakes off (I’m slightly less worried about pies, but only slightly). The thing about baking is that you never know for sure how something turned out until you cut into the final product, which I can’t do. So many things can go wrong!!! So many!! I really hope they loved the cakes.

I truly loathe the GOP. Gerrymandering in NC will get even worse now. 100% of young people need to get their asses to the polls.

This is hard to do, but necessary when you’ve started a business.
